Controversial Sanji vs Vergo would have ended the Same way as Zoro vs Mr.1.

Nah, before timeskip, the gap between him and Franky isn't that big but highly noticeable...
Another VA, Smoker, is there and was beaten by him... He's definitely not a fodder among those VAs unlike the likes of Maynard, Bastille, Red King...
I forgot Doflamingo there, my mistake... At the time the ranking should be like this: Kuzan, Doffy, Luffy, Law, Vergo, and so on... And yes, I think Zoro will lose at the time... I'm using their status quo without referencing what happened in the next arc there...

Wasn't Sanji terribly wounded and nerfed beforehand?
Either way, I never got the impression that Sanji was superior to Vergo at any point during PH. I think the point of the encounter was to hype Vergo to then hype Law (Sanji admits it would have been bad if the fight kept going).
Sanji with no nerfs and damage beforehand probably puts up a very good fight though, especially if he uses Diable Jambe, named attacks (or an ult like Hell Memories) and takes the battle to the sky.
