I thought we'd moved past Luffy being shit on the first time he meets a villain after egghead, but apparently he's still a little bitch. He has everything he needs, so at this point he just needs to get good.

He'll probably get haki mass this arc to fight off imu but not win. Imo luffy is going to have something like another awakening or a full awakening. He resembles a moon god not a sun god. Then the way his df awakened and how his awakening drawback works is weird. His df basically awakened it's self to save Luffy’s life and luffy didn't really do anything to awaken the df. It's usage basically drys luffy up to the point he's useless and other new awakenings just shown severe stamina drain. It's almost like luffy is forcefully using a power he isn't supposed to yet and is paying for it. Kidd and law who both gained awakening around when luffy did don't have this harsh drawback and a arc after wano they gained significant control of their awakening while Luffy’s is stuck in place even currently 2 arcs later with no improved control over his awakening. So imo luffy will do something to awaken the df himself becoming a real sun god and that plus haki mass will place him in god tier with imu.
