It's just a take, just an old opinion I put here for myself to keep track of, I didn't ask anyone's opinion on it, saying it with certitude or acting doubtful means nothing, if I was looking for attention or people who agree with my takes, I would have shared them elsewhere and wrote them in a better discussion-inviting way,

To be fair, like the other guy said, while Gaban was obviously going to be the Sanji of the crew he really doesn't have anything in common with Sanji besides being madly in love with women and wanting to fuck a hot woman every 3 minutes

He got a lot of things wrong because he can't stand Sanji being significant even when the story is literally telling it right in your face. He was, and probably still, blinded by the fact that his idolo must share his position with a cook. And he also continued with the "science" route that Zoroaches took as a dogma in order to set Sanji's power below the "haki experts". Even that was wrong and Oda slapped his face twice (wano, with armament haki upgrade and now on Elbaph with Supreme King Haki).
I'm sorry but, everything said in this topic it's just a counter argument to go against Sanji because in their head he can't stand together with Zoro even when the story said otherwise. They are pathetic and can't accept how wrong they were. I feel such pity.

imo it's fine to have thought the man that met with Crocus was Shiki and that Shiki was the one going to make an appearance on Elbaf. Hell it's fine to have even preferred Shiki or any of the Rocks Pirates making an apperance on Elbaf in Gaban's place all the whilst acknowlledging that he's a ting but denying that the concept of Gaban existed in the first place and then this constant "move the goal post" gimmick deserves clowining 100%

The only way I can agree with this is if the individual remains with their argument even when proven wrong .. there is not a single user on this site who's had a prediction and is 100 % correct all the time, especially with a story like One Piece where the author loves not giving direct answers, Oda wants discourse and speculation.
It’s hilarious to see some posters refusing to take accountability for their mistakes just because the thread was made 2 years ago. Their ego can’t handle being wrong, so the ones who are to blame are those pointing out their mistake lol.

Because he’s supposed to be a Sanji parallel, not a Sanji clone. The parallel was always strength-related and the metal theme was a dead giveaway to anyone with a brain (so literally to everyone, as those denying it could see it too but they were just obsessed with their agenda).
