I don't understand how it works. If we see God Valley in the anime, what's the reason of making it a movie too?

I thought that maybe they will cut God Valley from the anime? But it's impossible, why should they do it only for a movie? I don't understand.

Didn't they do it for the demon slayer train arc and animated it later ? they might do the same thing here
