It would he weird if Characters with power level of Admiral/Yonkou were randomly roaming around.
Destroys the entire hype for actual Yonkou/Admiral.
But this buff and weapon and all, has a cost for Imu.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it makes sense for them to be weakling who rely on Imu, but it seems people here really think Sommers is actually worth a shit without his demonic sugar daddy.

I don't thino HK ever knew how to fight, Evading and avoiding attack doesn't even come naturally to them because of regen hax.
But given their stats,
DF - Killin, Thorn broken in their own way,
Haki - Nothing from Killin, but Sommers managed to parry atleast some of Gaban strike.
Fighting skills - Zero
Regen hax - Max.

That's why even fodder can tag them or they simply don't care if they gets tagged because of regen.

After watching this week's episode, I think base Gunko > omen Sommers / Killingham

.....he is? He's not a top tier or anything, but realistically he's a pretty skilled fighter with solid DF abilities and Haki more powerful than most people. He's not garbage without Imu, he's just nothing insane. Its not like Imu is taking a Charlos figure and making him slap the shit out of someone like Queen. 😅

People have a tendency to just treat anyone who isn't like.....Marco/King/Kat level as fodder (or even treating THEM as fodder for not being as strong as their captains. Lol). When in reality even being as strong a Tobi Roppo member puts you in the upper percentile of strongest people in the world, to the point there would be maybe a few hundred individuals in the entire world who would even be a real threat to you.

Shamrock is special lol.
No other HK has a DF in weapon. Figarland has to be special in some way. Their Omen buff and weapon will be diff entirely.
Shanks was carrying ace from roger the entire time and then switched to Gryphon after flashback.

Gunko proved differently by manhandling a former Warlord coveted by both Marines and Yonko with backup

She also outmaneuvered old Gaban and after his most recent impressive feats, her own bodying of him gets upscaled too

I have already said Gunko on an average is above sommers/Killin.

But against Gaban she used other elements. Gaban was tbis close to clowning her as well, i don't think she packs Sommers thorn defense.
If sommers blackmailed gaban to just crush colon with his thorn it wasn't that difficult.

He has a power that makes him immune to anybody without Conqueror's Haki. And now has been given a super mode and a magic weapon by his patron. If he had no Covenant at all, how strong do you really think he would be?

The brief flashback established Shuri/Gunko was definitely someone with a lot of martial potential. And even if I disagree, Oda definitely wants the Figarlands to be an exception to the rule.

But the other three HK yet to be seen shouldn't be significantly combat masters, like Sommers and Killingham.
