i------------->.
I know that 90% of you will probably find this theory ridiculous or impossible to believe..
But I still decided to share it because I genuinely believe that, one day, Oda will prove this theory to be true..
It’s up to you whether you believe me or not.
So, as the title says:
Nérona Imu, who is currently fighting Luffy and Loki in Elbaf, is actually a fake Imu. He is an imposter being used as a decoy for the real Imu-sama.
But why?
The pattern of three..
In One Piece, we often see what looks like a pattern of two.
For example, the hero and the final villain:
Luffy vs. Blackbeard : (the Duality of Ds)
But I believe Oda's real pattern is not two.
It is three..
Not just cat vs. mouse...
But dog vs. cat vs. mouse.
And I believe this can also be applied to:
Luffy vs. Blackbeard vs. Nérona Imu. ( fame Vs power vs wealth)
(notice also in strawhat 1st trio : luffy = fame zoro = power Nami = wealth )
My theory is that, before the Void Century, Joy Boy, Davy D. Jones, and Nérona Imu were actually close friends..
They were a trio..
But something happened that destroyed their friendship.
I believe there was another evil force behind it all: the real Imu.
The true Imu manipulated Nérona Imu by tempting him with wealth, power, and status.
They told him that the Nérona bloodline was special, that they were the rightful rulers, and that they were the true heirs to the throne.
At the same time, the real Imu came between Joy Boy and Davy D. Jones, planting doubts between them and turning two close friends against each other.
The goal was to make the members of the D clan fight among themselves and make sure that their descendants would continue fighting for generations.
In other words, the real Imu destroyed the friendship between the three.
And the conflict we see in the present day may be the result of that manipulation..
Nérona Imu will eventually turn against the real Imu
This is why I believe Nérona Imu is not the true final villain.
His role may be similar to Obito Uchiha from Naruto.
At first, he appears to be an enemy.
But eventually, Luffy will reach him, make him understand the truth, and bring back the good side of him. (talknojutsu)
Nérona Imu may realize that he was manipulated all along .
And this is where the pattern of three becomes important again.
I believe Luffy, Blackbeard, and Nérona Imu will eventually join forces.
The three characters who should have been enemies may become one team.
And together, they will fight the person who was actually behind everything.
The real Imu.
So who is the real Imu?
If Nérona Imu is only a decoy...
Then who is the real Imu-sama?
You probably won't believe this.
I believe the real Imu-sama is actually...
Dr. Kureha.
Yes.
Kureha is the real Imu.
Kureha is 141 years old, yet she is still incredibly healthy and active. Since she is a doctor, I believe she may know secrets about the human body, life, and aging that allowed her to survive for an extremely long time.
But her age is only one part of the theory.
Kureha also has strange connections to some of the biggest mysteries in One Piece.
She knows about the Will of D.
Dr Kureha is highly skilled in medicine and has spent years studying and experimenting with diseases, the human body, and different medical treatments.
I believe her knowledge as a doctor could have allowed her to secretly influence many events throughout history for evil purposes :
- Dr. Kureha was the one behind what happened to the Kingdom of Esperia. 62 years ago, a strange mist covered the kingdom for six months. It later became a toxic smog that caused mass illness and the deaths of hundreds...
Hiriluk's death and Roger's illness
other important events may have been manipulated by Kureha from behind the scenes :
Let's start with Roger..
During Roger's flashbacks, we see that his journey took him to many of the same places that Luffy later visited ..So I find it very strange that Kureha knew Roger personally and knew his real name.
This makes me believe that Kureha and Roger actually met at some point.
But the interesting part is that Oda never showed us their meeting.
Why?
I find that suspicious.
My theory is that Kureha was actually the person who gave Roger his illness, without Roger ever knowing that she was responsible..
And I believe something similar could happen to Luffy when he gets closer to Laugh Tale..
Luffy could become sick without realizing that Kureha was responsible from the beginning..
-Sanji and Nami : When Nami and Sanji visited Kureha, she pretended to cure them, but I believe she actually infected them with a hidden disease.. it would only activate when they develop strong romantic feelings for each other (Like Boa Hancock's love sickness..)..
Kureha did this because Nami and Sanji remind her of two ancient lovers she was jealous of, so she wanted to destroy their relationship..
The death of dr hirliluk : I believe Kureha also pretended to treat Dr. Hiriluk, while secretly infecting him with the disease that killed him. She then made it look like Chopper was responsible for his death.
Why would she do this? Because Hiriluk discovered the cherry blossoms that could heal people's hearts, which could have threatened Kureha's plans. So she had to get rid of him.
Lastly, we see Nérona Imu spitting blood, which could mean that he is suffering from some kind of illness. I believe Kureha was the one who infected him with it, so that if Nérona ever turned against her, she could weaken him or even control him..
