See, that is what I'm trying to show : there is absolutely no understanding of what makes a slur an offensive slur. If you completely strip the political weight and contextual usage of a slur when you analyze it, you arrive at a situation like that where people will not make the distinction between a list of quote trying to denounce said usage of the word and the actual oppressive usage of the word.

This completely depoliticized vision of language thus makes words loses completely their meaning and understanding, making you thing that a guy describing a slur and a guy using said slur against you are the same. It's this complete liberal vision of language that then makes it possible for people to defend the usage of other slurs likie the one I quoted above....

When you don't understand why some words are bad and when you strip the analysis of their contextual usage, you create exclusion.

And it's funny because this type of depoliticized vision can be stretched to many aspect of a person's analysis, as it is very similar to the illiteracy that you will find with some people experiencing stories.

I have in mind for example the case of Andor during the first few episodes of the second second where a scenary of an attempt of rape (and the following destruction of the rapist by the woman) was analyzed under the illiterate lens "Andor is showing a rape, they are promoting sexual abuse", a situation where the action of rape was specifically designed to be a denounciation and a big moment for the woman protagonist. This decontextualization and depoliticization of the elements of language, either visual, through the stories or the words are one of the reasons why people can't understand stories anymore and reproduce horrific analysis while being perfectly capable of reproducing these behavior in other context.
