Meiō is the Japanese name for Hades/Pluto, the ruler of the dead and king of the underworld in Greek mythology.
Scopper Gaban — Mountain-Eater (山喰らい / Yamagurai)
The obvious meaning of Yama here is 'mountain', but Yama is also the name of the Hindu god of death and judge of the dead. In Buddhist tradition, Yama transformed into Enma in Japan, the ruler and judge of Hell.
Roger had:

Gaban → Yama/Enma → King of Hell / ruler of the dead
ZoLo outright declares that he'll become the King of Hell (地獄の王 / Jigoku no Ō), and his upgraded sword style is called En-Ō Santōryū (閻王三刀流).
