We know nothing about Mihawk's life so far, and we didn't know any of that stuff about Shanks before Egghead.

In just one arc, we could learn Mihawk's entire life story, and our perspective would change completely.

He could do that and still show us other things than Imu jobbing to Luffy, Loki and Hajrudin.

There are 2 fights happening at the same time, he could show us some actions instead of later having to rush and finish them in one chapter each.

At this stage, it is quite possible that the Zoro vs. Sommers fight will last just one full chapter, and the Sanji vs. Killingham fight will last just one full chapter

or two chapters, that the two battles will be interwoven, with the perspective shifting between Zoro and Sanji, leading up to a two double-page spread where they both finish off their respective enemies simultaneously.

I legit won’t be shocked if Usopp does square up to Imu again like he did with Gunkimu.

We’ll see how Luffy handles it next time he gets knocked down by Imu. (Let’s be honest it will happen again).

To me the Usopp line just confirms Imu is going to fall here in Elbaf to Luffy and Loki as Luffy rejects the destiny that he was being groomed for, shocking but I wouldn’t call it a step backwards imo. We’ll have to see how it develops
