Tserri running into someone on that level this early is probably the best thing that could happen for his growth. He actually survived his first encounter with Hisoka, who was ready to kill him, possibly without Hisoka even realizing he was there. And he still lived to tell the tale.

Damn, Togashi really has me rooting for a psychopath. Sorry, Kurapika, but this dude better not die before we get to see his full potential

People were expecting some kind of alliance, or for Hisoka to somehow team up with him, which, in my opinion, is so unlike him, only for Hisoka to kill the guy 3 seconds after meeting him

it depends if you like the boat arc

i personally love it and it's my personal favorite shonen arc but it isn't for everyone

i'd recommend rereading entire arc before starting new chapters

I know we shouldn't always compare, but re-reading the Succession Contest Arc just makes you realize how far above OP HxH is in terms of storywriting.

Getting to read this new exquisite batch of chapters weekly after having to read whatever Oda is "cooking" right now was quite telling.
