Luffy punched Imu's shield and hurt his hand. But then with a lightning boost, was able to break through.

I don't know how much more needs to be said here. Individually, neither Loki nor Luffy are a match for Imu. It's only with this Fastball Special and the combined attack last chapter is making any headway.
Yep because without luffy even loki attack won't have harm Imu by it self.

Imu before his transformation aura and beating everyone left and right -> portrayal and feats spoke for him.

Imu after transformation lost any aura, became a punching-bag slop. 0 feats horrendous portrayal.

Conclusion Imu hasn‘t gotten weaker and became stronger /s
I don't get how people can't see that while yes Imu transform should make him stronger since he do it kill Gaban and luffy .
He end up fighting both luffy and loki together now fully while in form one he did not .
The transformation was to make him stronger but he now dealing with much harder fight than before .
We don't even have round 1 luffy nerf where he get beat easy .
The bombs luffy run from in first fight man just destroy all this time easy lol.

Of course. I live each chapters like an episode. I created multiple playlist allowing me to have multiple types of One Piece ambiances (Apocalyptic, heroic, mythical etc.) and after 20 years, I'm able to predict and switch music quite effectively making my experience so cinematic.

Reading One Piece in silence is impossible to me. I need the full experience.
Why don't you edit those manga panels with Musics like those TikTok

Don't let that "creativity" Buried inside you

oda's revealing way too much about imu and having them bully him way too much
i think it's over for him
Definitely not. If Imu is defeated, even killed, the other four Gorosei go with him, and the Holy Knights lose their powers, and him gone before we even learn about the truth of Void Century is quite far-fetched.

No, I can't forsee a true defeat. More then likely, the pendulum shifts in his favor, but he expends too much energy and his illness catches up to him.

Because that's also what we need to remember. This isn't even his true strength, saved for Round Two at Mariejois.

I know we all can be guilty of judging chapters individually rather then a link of a chain, but surely, people can't think Imu's about to be defeated, no?
With all the wailing and gnashing of teeth about him being unimpressive lately there's a few who might tbh.

I do think it's a bad sign for Imu that he's getting this much action before BBP and other parties take the stage.

It's possible Oda might pull a Marineford and have him get taken out of the game now while still being the strongest player until the end?

I really doubt it though especially if he is the ginormous devil person from the mural.

Imu should have harder fight from now on once loki and luffy fighting together .
Him transforming and will do stuff but the fight should not be as easy when it was 1 on 1 with everyone .

There still so much we don't know about Imu and everything around him .
People saying we seeing to much but Imu has 19 weapons he can use and we only see him use 6.
What more the man can combine weapons lol
With his DF all we see it some bombs mostly and we know he has another form .
Imu still has so much in bag power and lore wise that Oda keeping from us .

I'm pretty insistent in my belief that Blackbeard is indeed the final challenge to be overcome for the series to end, but the thing is, even if the arcs themselves can be long, there really isn't that many arcs left. Next is Lodestar, and if the Burned Guy with the 4th Road Poneglyph is there, then it's Laugh Tale, and then cue final war sequence. So, the rematch really wouldn't be that far off, in-story.

Isn't it kind of weird that when Luffy got hit into the tree that there is an outline of the white cloud too?

... It crashed into that tree like a solid object

I also want to repeat that Imu got smashed into the Adam Tree on 3 separate occasions now lol

I think he did anyway.

1) Loki smashed him into the tree first

2) Hajrudin did it again when he arrived

3) It happened again when they did a combined attack with Luffy (just now).

Imus shown too much and we just had Usopp saying that this fight is happening now.

Imu losing even if he’s not defeated, he no longer has any hype left
Depends on how the fight ends. Like, if he gets the upper hand and things look finally hopeless and he's going to kill everyone at once, then he starts vanishing because he exerted too much energy, then they really didn't defeat him.

With that logic Imu should‘ve have proportionally leveled up too.

Basic Imu > everyone by his own, let‘s assume everyone else together (exaggerated) > basic Imu, hence the next step should be Imu‘s second form > everyone else together.

Instead we have them together performing > Imu‘s second form. And this is before Luffy‘s looming powerup and Loki‘s hybrid…

One thing is for sure... those kid hostages are meaningless.

They have avoided certain death a couple times already.

1) They almost died walking into fire

2) They almost died when they fell off the dock

They've been captured and recaptured. It's madness.

He’s not going to just vanish, his time limit isn’t until he unsummons it’s until his body gives out.

Even then I don’t see this fight ending with Luffy and Loki looking hopeless.
