And I prefer Wano in general. Wano can be disappoiting in the end but everything was more interesting to follow than Elbaf

It's the main argument I used to see used against titlescaling him to Top 1.

At best iirc he was described once or twice as "strongest living thing?" in one chapter or so after WB died.

Even then I take it to imply that this only applies to pirates because Oda generally excludes WG allied characters from "strongest" titles (see: Garp, Imu).

I really don't know how any of this works honestly, titles in OP are worse than power levels in DBZ.

I know some One Piece mega fanboys are going to be like "well Wano's borders will open by the end of the series or Yamato could still maybe join the crew, and pull a Jinbe."

Yes we know Wano's borders are going to open by the end of the series, but with so many other stuff that will probably happen at the same time, no one is going to give a fuck.

It won't even be the most important thing, Wano's borders opening should have happened during the Wano arc itself, where it actually mattered and during a time where most did care.

And as for Yamato, even if she did pull a Jinbe and joined the crew later on in the story, it's kind of little too late.

There aren't going to be that many arcs left after Elbaf, also the other main issue is that Oda is already struggling trying to give focus to some of the Straw Hats.

Look how he is treating Usopp in what many thought would be his arc, or look at Jinbe who he now turned into a amazon delivery worker and firefighter.

When I look back I remember Egg Head intringuing me
Wano disappoints, but it was interesting and hype


But Elbaf is a complete disaster in terms at getting me interested in the arc (after the flashback is worse)
