Seems like Oda already knows people are only interested in Zoro and Sanji at this point in this series, not this bullshit luffy nika and imu.

So he keeps saving their moments which are 1000 times more interesting than this clownfest happening right now.

It’s only boring now because Oda killed the tension. Luffy should be legit dead right now, and the story should be workijg on how to bring him back. Instead he’s already up and joking around while Imu is coughing up blood. I don’t even care now.

the fight is objectively boring and total crap, lacks any credible stakes and fails to create a sense of urgency, which creates a pacing problem

It isn't a mistaken impression.

Luffy quite literally fought IMU in base one chapter, turned G5 the next and in that same chapter gets stabbed and almost killed, gets saved a chapter after, loki and harujin pull up in the next and then luffy jumps IMU with Loki in the last chapter.

The pacing of the fight has been fast. We just had a couple breaks inbetween them lol.

Imu has confirmed he is the worst villain in all stories of all time and Oda should be ashamed of his self he doesn't deserve 5 chapters he deserves negative 5 chapters so we can forget any of this happened maybe he will rewrite it better and actually chop Hajrudin's head off this time just to make a point to all the giants because they don't respect his authority

Luffy sucks, Loki sucks, Hajrudin sucks, Imu sucks, as a group they're just dumb people probably would be beat in pre-timeskip for being so stupid honestly what was Oda thinking he is disrespecting all of his fans and we should cancel him

Imu blocking or regenerating, Loki using lightning, Luffy doing nothing and then hitting his time limit. The only good part was when Gaban entered the fight.

And the action is even getting worse now with G5 unfunny gags and ugly fighting style.

Oda has killed all hope I had for future Luffy fights. The 1 chapter of the fight that ends with Imu stabbing Luffy was pretty good because he kept Luffy serious throughout.
He just couldn’t help himself though and had to do a silly eye popping gag to send Imu flying for the umpteenth time, killing any tension.

I didn’t have high hopes for Elbaf going in and was hoping it would at least go by quickly. Now it’s one of the longest arcs and likely will be 3rd or 2nd longest. So aggravating…
