Did he seriously forget that he had these guys fight prime Rayleigh, Gaban, and Roger’s crew, and not a single one of them was even killed? We saw Imu casually block a gigantified G5 punch with one hand
While we saw Imu having to gigantify himself with omen + omen on his weapon to physically match a Loki's swing.

Luffy having suddeny enough power to break through a stronger Imu's barrier with a smaller fist and send him flying through the adam tree is because he tried more seriously and 100% his own strenght, nothing to do with Loki. He wanted to get hit by Ragnir just so he could make a funny face.

Why does any of this make Luffy look bad or Loki look good?

If the spoilers are correct Luffy pretty much just tanked Loki's strongest hit in base form, Loki goes hybrid and Luffy taps out yet again for a bit. Luffy doesn't necessarily look any worse than he has the last 3 arcs lmao. Loki still sits in around the same position, we all knew there had to be a hybrid form?

This doesn't really do much in the way of imu either, panels will be most likely reflect the same shit we've been seeing just with a different skin
