Ok, but if you say:
You should agree that would be beyond absurd to think someone, let's says Luffy, in his fight against Imu uses CoC the second before and then starts attacking with a more serious move... without CoC.
And I could say the same for Imu.
Even in Wano, Oda skipped lots of visual. For example, in G5 there were basically no trails on all moves, and so on.
Yea I totally get the reasoning and it should be absurd, but I think it's really Oda's style.
He would rather have Luffy eat softened up buiscuits for the lols for 15hours instead of nuking Cracker with a KKG aswell.
And like I said: he canonly did not go all out here, cause he made physical contact, even though his hands nearly broke, even though he does not have to.
That's not even a matter of visuals, it's just doesn't make sense, except for Oda specifically lowballing for the bigger move at the end.
Or why is Loki only now using his hybrid, when it might be a juicy PU. It gets even more absurd if his hybrid will be able to tank stigma, shit that nearly took him out of the fight before.
I doubt that the genie or the jet gatling for example were all out feats aswell. I dont even know what they are tbh
I think in Oda's mind there's a certain combat narrative for those arc battles and abilities can be shut off and turned on during different sequences of it for the flow, except for trademark stuff like Kuri's FS or some.
