Deadass, Wapol being Kaido's factory would have been such a One Piece twist, bringing back an early, weak villain in an unexpected way.

The antagonist of Drum arc in the first arc with Nika's drums of liberation.
It would've been so poetic.

Besides, Wapol's zaniness works better than Orochi's, when paired with Kaido's seriousness.

Oh, I do so remember the high hopes we all had for Orochi. Basically 90-95 % strength Oden was the hope. Legit partners, even though Kaido in the end (especially past the Oden fight) was stronger than both Oden and Orochi. Denjiro/Kyoshiro also had really high expectations. Ashura Douji fared really well vs Jack. In the end they all, to varying degrees, disappointed and simply became bystanders.
