Gaban and Shanks didn't know about needing to destroy HKs' hearts to kill em. So no, from Gaban's perspective he wasn't asking Loki to kill Harald cos he was too pussy to do it himself (terrible argument btw), he genuinely thought Harald was completely immortal.

Also, Harald regained his senses against Loki and completely lowered all his defenses, giving Loki a free hit.

The saddest part is old Gaban genuinely has similar if not greater AP feats than current base Loki + Ragnir because he caused the most damage to Imu. Meaning a closer to prime Gaban certainly would've had higher AP than a Loki who just obtained Ragnir and didn't even know what CoC was. So AP definitely wasn't the issue.

Old Gaban literally hit him with his strongest attack when Imu was distracted while Oda made Loki hit Imu with a no name basic attack when he was distracted against him. Loki AP is best idk what your yapping about. Gabban in his prime already admitted to be weaker than Loki.

Luffy been using coc for 1-2 years before he understood acoc, the reason why Zoro does not get it right away because he cant even use normal coc because no one showed him how to use it. He learned Coa coating from Hyogoro 1 week before the raid, then instantly learned that you can coat CoC and applied it after being hit by Kaido.

so just to recap:

DR xebec has no gimmick, has solo sky split CoC, took barely any damage from roger/garp, needs a massive haki bomb to finish him

HK larald has a gimmick regen, damaged by everyone, died to 1 hit from loki (same hit v1 imu casually blocked)

Well to be fair, Domi Reversi also has his gimmick- cutting their heads off. It was just close to impossible to do against a solo sky split CoC coat like the one Rocks then had on.

On normal non CoC guys DR is still easy to deal with and does not even require aCoC like the mecha heart.
It just becomes hella annoying on top tiers with CoC, especially from mid top tier upwards, because then their CoC coat becomes near inpenetrable.

Old Gaban is more than strong enough, he used an attack way more powerful than the one that killed Harald. Harald also didn’t know those two were in Elbaf at the time which is why he was shocked when Gaban showed up at the castle.

The two were literally having a discussion with one another right before Yachitakeru and Imu attacked him at the exact same time. Besides it’s not like he needs to be above Imu to use the move, he showed against Luffy and Zoro he can do this shit right in front too.

That’s a funny way of saying what really happened, which is that Loki literally beat Imu’s control out of Harald, something Gaban and Saint Shanks failed to do.

Gaban wanted to save Harald-> then why didn’t he beat Imu’s control out of Harald? Why did it fall to Loki to do that while Saint Shanks and Gaban got collateral diffed?

All this glaze about Gaban’s AP but he clearly failed to do something Loki did, and Loki fought Harald 1v1 while Gaban and Saint Shanks fought Harald in a 1v100.

This is legit like saying Asura Zolo has greater AP than Luffy because Asura Zolo scarred Kaido and Luffy couldn’t do the same, you are mistaking lethality for AP which is the exact error sword swallowers have used to argue Zolo > Luffy, lol….

Obviously Woki has AP far exceeding Gabum and Saint Shanks, Woki beat the Imu out of Harald which Gabum and Saint Shanks failed to do despite wanting to save him.

Base Loki’s AP looks like Roger and Primebeard took steroids and had a full power AdCoC clash, base Gaban’s AP looks like some East Blue shit lol.

If Gaban’s AP was all that, he and Saint Shanks would have beaten Imu’s control out of Harald and Harald would have asked them to kill him. But they were too weak and the task instead fell to Loki.
