Honestly shanks not knowing or actively hiding from Gaban about the metal heart is actually really dumb in hindsight

Oda showing both Zoro and Sanji blitzing the holy knights but Sanji being so fast that he basically just teleports worked really great for both characters cause it really showcases Sanjis speed, but the panel of just Zoros eyes is insane aura from Zoro

Heart was obviously made up at the end of the flashback, there's no way Roger Pirates never once stumbled upon a metal heart with how easily Gaban been cutting Sommers in pieces, and we know they got ass kicked a lot judging by Sommers PTSD

We literally see the aftermath and Gaban only mentions that Harald was unstotabble because they couldn't destroy his regeneration (a.k.a they didn't know about metal heart).
Gaban doesn't call Harald strong and unstoppable because of his strength. He only wanked his regen.


This situation was literally whole big misunderstanding where they thought that maybe Loki's DF had the ability to turn off immortality, which was false.

Let's also not forget that Shanks and Gaban wanted to save Harald, which is why they placed hopes in Loki with his new DF maybe able to turn Harald back (he couldn't)
