Very cool chapter, people who said "no tension" have no sensory input, this chapter, especially the first half was full of it. The experience of reading the 5 chapters before and probably after in a row must be quite exceptionnal. I can't wait the anime on that.

I think Luffy is finally starting to understand that his will IS the power of his fruit.

Yeah I really felt the tension when Zoro almost accidentally killed Sommers while using him like a training dummy. I listened to this song while reading this chapter:

I wouldn't call it necessary tension, this moment was more so a Heroic/Stoic build-up.

I mean the literally only reason Sommers and Killingham are alive is because Zoro and Sanji are using them to try and learn how to coat their attacks in CoC. Making your opponents training dummy’s never feels good

Firstly, Zoro must genuinely be retarded.

Secondly, I'm so confused. Zoro's struggling to separate CoC from CoA, yet in failing to do so he still managed to blitz Sommers; except the fact he didn't pierce the heart means he's still not using CoC. Or is he not using it correctly enough to pierce the heart? Or did he miss?

So all this time he's basically been wasting all his haki for no reason thinking he was using CoA and accidentally leaking CoC.

But now that he's not leaking CoC he's somehow gotten a speed boost (??) and is currently mid-way through a power-up, except he's still not using CoC (or using it correctly) so why is he stronger now? Cos he's fighting more efficiently? Not just a little stronger either — this halfway version of Zoro with one sword is significantly stronger than the version of Zoro whose KOH DD got swatted. Which makes no sense.

Oda's a confirmed fraud atp. At least once Zoro gets this he should be solid Admiral level.

You're not really quoting the Luffy tard, right? What matters is that Loki dealt enough damage to break the bond. Neither Gaban nor Shanks were able to do so.

Furthermore, we will see how Hybrid Loki performs against Imu. This fight will answer Loki's true powerlevel.

He didn’t get a speed boost. And he’s not stronger now he just didn’t come in contact with Gram which is the only actual threat in this fight.

Zoro stabbing Sommers is so much cooler than most of his slash attacks.

It’d be so refreshing if he actually kills him with a stab too. Let it be some ultra-named KoH Destroyer or whatever just not the same fucking slash shit again.

If damage causes the bond to break, why did Oda show Gunko doing it when she wasn’t damaged at all?
