The whole immortality aspect doesn't really appeal to me.
It would have been better if the secret hadn't been revealed just yet.
Right now, if you wanted to defeat Shanks, you could strike his face, legs, stomach, or any other body part to take him down; the only difference is that to kill an immortal, you have to strike their heart.
So, what makes a fight involving the Five Elders interesting?
The only real difference is that, to reach their hearts, you’d likely have to bypass their Conqueror's Haki defenses; otherwise, it seems they won't be much different from the Holy Knights.
For me, only Imu is truly compelling—unless Oda decides to add something interesting to the Five Elders.
