imo its very likely Israel will devolve into something like jewish Iran. Its practically halfway there. The haredim largely outbreed the rest of the population and they want the country to be a halachic state.

They are a Jewish ethnocracy. But they aren’t a fully theocratic Jewish state. The state has some democracy, and a secular/christian/muslim voting population.

But I think due to external pressures and the growing haredi population, inevitably religious fundamentalists will destroy the state’s secular and democratic aspects.
