maybe its cope but what would make everything better is if instead of just the tip of the swords now the whole swords is on fire and has acoc around it. that would show a progression of Power and would make the whole chapter leading up to it more impactful.

and im pretty sure that its that, I dont think even Oda would go so far to make Zoros new Power look 1to1 like KoH

I really hate how there's no way to tell how strong Sommers is to gauge how strong Zoro is now. I would assume that the gap between Sommers and King is comparable to the gap between Imu and Kaido. But still, I'm not sure if Zoro is supposed to be top tier after this. What about Lucci or Shiryu? It's confusing, really. It feels like Zoro is just fighting commander level opponents despite having really great haki.

If Zoro is supposed to be "admiral level" now, Oda is doing a really bad job with the portrayal.

Like you said somewhere between YC1 and Admiral's. He's stronger than Kidd and even Law at this point.
