Multiverse General If Oda and Kishimoto Switched Series , Who Would Write The Better Series ?

Lets see,its interesting to imagine it:

-Kishimoto's One Piece would be very different. Less goofy designs,and a more serious tone in some scenes. There would be less worldbuilding. There would not be the same formula of "Luffy goes to an island and save it" every arc. Blackbeard would look cooler,similar to Sasuke,and his parallels with Luffy that already exist in the original story,would be emphasized even more. There would be more deaths,but not too many. There would be more romance. The fights would probably be a little better,and there would be a better pacing

-Oda's Naruto would be with Naruto being more like a troublemaker who challenges every authority,instead of the more mature Naruto we see in Shippuden. There would be more worlbuilding,and more travels. The Akatuski would have probably been beaten one member at time,in different villages. In those different villages we would have some village characters who run in many places during the final parts of the fights. Neji,Kiba,etc. and the others would get more fights,but with less quality. Way less romance. More goofy designs

In the end i think i would prefer Kishimoto's One Piece!

Post-Wano, Kishi washes Oda.
Pre-G5, OP is the better story.

They're both immensely flawed storytellers, but Oda is far ahead of Kishimoto.

The only thing Kishimoto has going for him is superior drawing.

Oda writting Naruto would make Naruto have a more natural progression to Hokage instead of making him the strongest ninja on Earth while still being a Genin or Chunin I'm not sure. But the story would be much bigger, and so the world. But also we would have Naruto defeating Gods with jokes, not much different from what we had. So I'd say it would be potentially better.

Kishimoto writting One Piece we would already have Luffy as Pirate King. World a lot smaller without a bunch of unnecessary characters. We would still have unnecessary gags but not as much as we have today and potentially have the Moon arc bringing Enel back. So it would potentially be a better story as well.

Conclusion, both wrote the wrong story.

Pre-G5 OP is still pretty good, even with the quality writing decline.

Nah. G5 was just the bottom but Wano as a whole, except Oden flashback, was lame.

Sure, pre-rooftop Wano wasn't that good, but with a proper ending it could have been salvaged.
G5 was the worst route it could've gone.
