The Holy Knights’ immortality is so damn confusing. One minute you cut them up and they regenerate, the next they don’t. Zoro sliced Super Sommers up multiple times and the dude just kept coming back every single time. You really do need ACoC if you want to put them down for good.
Nobody wants to spend the entire war holding onto some dude’s body part or literally sitting on his corpse just because they can’t permanently finish off a Holy Knight. 😂 That’s basically Kizaru and the Admirals.

In fact, that panel of Nika facing the God of War and his squirrel kinda looks to scale.
Granted, Oda and scale don't go well together, but most fans do think that Joyboy was either a buccaneer or a half giant, so Nika, who preceded him by who knows how much, might not have been a human either.

Considering how weak the God´s Fodders are (Sommers is like Saturn rn ironically, he is jobbing HARD) I´ll just put mihawk alone for now but considering how warcury was actually competent & actually had insane toughness to the point even G5 Luffy couldn´t penetrate it. then maybe he could be comparable. Now, shiryu & fujitora should be interchangable as well.

Sommers has been wholely dissapointing but proof was in the pudding tbf.
Thought Omen & the Ancient weapons were gonna be able to salvage the Holy Knights but doesn't seem like even that is enough.
Granted jury is still out on Kiringham but Sommers has been incredibly underwhelming and the fact that he still chooses to remain cocky and incompetent even though he's getting sliced up is wild to me. Not sure what Oda's tryna to do here with him to be honest he just comes across as an incredibliy incompetent villian irregardless of how cynical he is.
Also on this Zoro CoC ting, even though I see the loophole Oda's tryna take advantage of here it is yet another instance of this sickness that he has of him trying to eat his cake and have it hence why it feels so underwhelming for most. The least he could do imo is at least upgrade the way KOH looks to make a disctinction btw Zoro intentionally coating his CoC as opposed to Enma just going ham with it.
I just hope that this whole "intentionality" angle with CoC that Oda's been banging on about since Gaban in the Underworld actually leads to something tangible. Coz Gaban's advice wasn't directed to just the wings but also Luffy and Loki who are able to coat their attacks in CoC.
So hopefully this whole being able to coat your attacks in CoC ting is just a baseline or rather a foundation for whatever it is that Oda's potentially cooking up with CoC for the boys going forward.
