The fight is absurd.
DD is no different from what he's doing at the end of the chapter... y know the one that accidentally chopped Sommers arm and stopped it from regenerating.
DD was only stopped cuz Gram is a mythical sword capable of deflecting anything (Imu used it to swat away Loki's lightning attack as well).
Not because trash like Sommers is some super powerful dude who casually swats away ultimate techniques of Zoro.
If Sommers was actually on that level, he wouldn't get bullied left right and centre for 2 chapters in a row as Zoro slowly grows more braincells than 3.

But Full Fight WB gotta unleash All his power including Haki and DF against Roger.
If not that is some Disrespect on Roger and it dehypes him as the Pirate King.
I believe WB only 1 or worse case 2 level below Roger.
And to Match it he had Powerful DF which possibly be awakened.

everyone says Oda switched Chicken Wings opponents this arc and Sommers should have fought Sanji (obviously)
but can someone explain to me how Killingham was supposed to be a Zoro opponent?
what does Zoro gain from fighting him that he doesn't already get from Sommers (both regen merchants)

Yea see where you are coming from, bro, but "control" will lay the foundation for everything that follows I think- (critical) haki mass, casual control within cling clangs, fodder nuke outside of 1on1s.
We even see in this chap that he projects - in Mihawk's words - his own self out by wifi cutting Sommer's arm off as it seems.
Before it was either KoH or base Zoro basically, now it's KoH and/or aCoC base Zoro I think.
We also need to consider the stamina soak that prolly comes with KoH.
I want to see where Oda takes it from here in the context of KoH & normal CoC coating. Hopefully that gets clearly communicated by Zoro at some point.
