The fight is absurd.

DD is no different from what he's doing at the end of the chapter... y know the one that accidentally chopped Sommers arm and stopped it from regenerating.

DD was only stopped cuz Gram is a mythical sword capable of deflecting anything (Imu used it to swat away Loki's lightning attack as well).
Not because trash like Sommers is some super powerful dude who casually swats away ultimate techniques of Zoro.

If Sommers was actually on that level, he wouldn't get bullied left right and centre for 2 chapters in a row as Zoro slowly grows more braincells than 3.
We know from Kaido’s statements that better CoC coating proficiency also increases its output.
Considering that Zoro didn't even know he had CoC and was mindlessly leaking it i expect it to be his PU.

I think Zoro will cut Gram otherwise the difference between this Zoro and the one who got lol-diffed by Imu at the start of the arc is minimal.

I’m not really into downplaying Zoro’s new opponents, so considering we’ve already been told what Gram’s ability is, I’ll wait for confirmation that it's also has some other ability that lets it “reflect everything” or whatever.

And honestly, I don’t understand why you’re trying so hard to push the idea that Zoro hasn’t gotten stronger. It doesn't help.

Although this new plot makes Zoro dumb, it helps to clear up the King fight/Egghead inconsistencies

During the King fight, Zoro thought King was invincible when his flames are on because he was literally doing no damage to him. He only started doing damage after he unconsciously unlocked adcoc

And during Egghead he said the Seraphims were virtually invincible with flame on because of his lack of knowledge in adcoc

So basically, flame on King and the Seraphims are still vulnerable to adcoc attacks
So why didnt Luffy damage the Seraphims?
He had acoc.

king was scared to allow zoro get free hits on him during when his flames are on
This could also means that AdvCoC can bypassing Lunarian invincible Ability same as how AdvCoC could bypass HK regeneration.
Zoro is a dumb dumb so he didn't notice it, he only know that he pouring all of his haki.
King noticed this and thinking He would defeat Zoro if he turn his flame off to get more faster and powerful.
King with Flame On -> Invincible High Defense but Pretty Slow and not as powerful as flame off. Could only get attacked by AdvCoC or DF Hax.
King with Flame Off -> High Speed + Offense, But L Defense.

Yea see where you are coming from, bro, but "control" will lay the foundation for everything that follows I think- (critical) haki mass, casual control within cling clangs, fodder nuke outside of 1on1s.

We even see in this chap that he projects - in Mihawk's words - his own self out by wifi cutting Sommer's arm off as it seems.

Before it was either KoH or base Zoro basically, now it's KoH and/or aCoC base Zoro I think.
We also need to consider the stamina soak that prolly comes with KoH.

I want to see where Oda takes it from here in the context of KoH & normal CoC coating. Hopefully that gets clearly communicated by Zoro at some point.
Yeah better control.

But i doubt Oda's ever gonna explain or show anything in enough detail to draw conclusions in this story anymore.
Gone are the days of abilities interacting with each other to form interesting storylines inside fights, i think the last fight that was excellent in that aspect was Luffy v. Katakuri with how Fs & logia-like shapeshifting was problem-solved mid fight.

We're in the era of either "i have more ki/aura/haki/power than you" or straight up looney toons tomfoolery and it's such a damn shame tbh.

yh thats why it never made sense to me why people clown king calling him retarded fighter
when he knew acoc could harm so he needed to switch the gameplay and try to end zoro

I stayed in that perpetual Sommers Shock face from reading the spoiler description and now having the panels confirm it's the same shit we saw three years ago

They were fighting based on Zoro's wordings on how they are invincible when flames are on, except that Zoro didn't know they can actually be damaged with adcoc due to lack of knowledge, so I don't think Luffy was using adcoc.
Zoro only said that much later. And, at that point, they offscreened the rest of the fight.
Up to that point Luffy should have used ACoC, but didnt.
Also Zoro only managed to hurt King during flame off on their fight.
