People can say what they want about Sommers being trash in terms of power level.

But at least he was a very fun villain, had lots of focus as a character, and is related to Ju Peter who imo might end up becoming one of the most important Elders.

Compare that to Killingham who is only interesting because of his devil fruit.

There is a very thin line between being funny and being ridiculous. That line has been crossed with this chapter sadly. Hopefully Killingham will prove to be a worthy opponent. Sommers has been defeated by CoC twice already (Gaban and Luffy). Perhaps regeneration is finally taking its toll

Ju Peter and Nusjuro definitely stand out so there is still a chance of them being relevant. As of today, I don't think the strawhats will defeat them. Blackbeard's crew is the last remaining villain after Elbaf

This chapter pretty clearly demonstrates that fart clouds without muh haki lightning aren't ACoC though. Hahava Hunt was ACoC, only guaranteed because of Sanji's call. So Gucci may have stalled him for much longer without third party intervention.

IMO, only Nusjuro and Shamrock are actual fighters. The other Gorosei are carried by their yokai forms, while Garling was shown in GV to be fodder.
