That won’t happen.

We still haven’t seen Sanji vs Qilingham and Zoro vs Sommers is almost certain to conclude after Sanji’s fight.

And even after that we have Loki vs Imu to wrap up before the final round with Luffy.

Zoro won’t do anything apart from fight Sommers. Oda will just give Sommers a buff so he doesn’t die next chapter. Either some new technique with Omen, Gram, or his DF.

You misunderstand. He's talking about the thorns, not his heart. Sanji freed Robin by destroying the thorns with his flame foot attack. Thorns being a plant attack they are weak against heat.

What's interesting about that statement is it implies his thorns are so hard and durable they should only be cut or destroyed by ACoC attack. Since Zoro cut it with only CoA it means his CoA is so powerful it reaches ACoC level. Zoro's CoC will be even stronger than your average CoC haki.

I wonder if he also subtly heated his blades using the Foxfire Style.

With how CoC got explained in this chapter idk how Sanji will have it. With Zoro there were always panels of him scaring off the weak with just aura. Maybe there are some similar panels for Sanji. At least Sanji considered Shitham a fodder earlier.

when you realize the only PU left for zoro in comparison to most top tiers is his observation haki
oda's roundabout here makes sense . Theres not much else to develop.

There is no need for him to get a power up every arc so there is no reason to give him on this arc. It was simply stupid tactic to stall him and most likely have both wings develop/advnace it the same time.
