Speculations Oda has already explained to us where Imu's role ends and who the true final enemies will be

#1
The final One Piece saga will consist of four arcs:

Egghead (where the panel was revealed)

Elbaf (where the battle involving Imu in Elbaf, and the Revolutionaries against the World Government is underway)

Lodestar (where we will see the man with the burn scar and the race for the fourth Road Poneglyph)

Laugh Tale (where the One Piece will be revealed)

This panel depicts all the major characters who play a role in the conclusion of the final saga of One Piece

At the bottom, in smaller size, are :

the leaders of the revolutionary group : Dragon, Sabo

the leaders of the world government : Imu, Garling, Shamrock

the leaders of the Marines : Akainu, Kuzan, Koby

all placed in small panels of similar size

These three groups, divided into two enemy camps: the World Government (Akainu + Holy Knights remaining) VS the revolutionaries, are all located at Mary Geoise, where the assault and the ongoing battle are taking place

It seems there is also some activity at the G-1 base, the former Marineford

(except for Kuzan, who hasn't betrayed Blackbeard yet)

We can also add Blackbeard to the mix, he is keeping a distant eye on this conflict, intending to capitalize on it by intervening at the right moment, just as he told Laffitte (Blackbeard can steal Imu's powers, the authority, and the role of final antagonist that goes with it)

All these people thus find themselves in a final battle at Mary Geoise.

The only exception is Imu, who is currently on Elbaf fighting Luffy and Loki, the situation had spiraled out of control, with Mary Geoise in flames and devastated by the battle VS the revolutionaries, so Imu decided to teleport to Elbaf in order to seize control of the giants and use them as an army to help the Holy Land

I think this whole plotline will be resolved during and after Elbaf (Or perhaps a part that spills over into the Lodestar arc as well)

Only the upper part of the panel remains, in a larger size, or where is :

The Four Emperors: Blackbeard, Shanks, Luffy, Baggy

They are all racing after the fourth Poneglyph held by the man with the burn scar (Lodestar)

and they are all racing after the One Piece (Laughtale)

The true antagonists and the final confrontation will take place between these four characters

placed at the ends of the ledges, in the margin : Shanks, Baggy (Lodestar)

then placed in the center of the images in the largest panel : Blackbeard vs Luffy (Laughtale)

I agree, and I dont think it would actually be a 1v1 or crew against crew type of setting. It will be a mix of different representatives of different factions going against each other.
I dont see the Buggy vs Shanks happening at Lodestar, neither of them has anything against the other. Buggy specifically wants to dodge the fight, Mihawk does not want to fight one armed Shanks, Shanks doesnt care about Buggy.
In the bottom part I see Aokiji vs Coby dictating the other matchups and introducing a twist.
Its
Aokiji vs Coby
Akainu vs Dragon
Garling vs Sabo
Imu vs Shamrock (Shamrock is a good guy and he can talk via CoC/VoAT to Shanks and they take Imu down through a hidden plan)

My explanation of the page almost the same but I see a bit differently one of the group. I agree there are three clear groups that will confront each other: Emperors, leaders (Imu is the WG leader, Dragon is the RA leader, Akainu is the Marines leader and Shamrock is the leader of HK) and the last group of important subordinates (Garling is not a leader anymore, he is just one of the Gorosei).
So it's clear for me Aokiji vs Coby (Garp's proteges) and Garling vs Sabo (the most loyal subordinates of confronting groups as WG and RA, the first has no mercy for human life, Sabo is absolute opposite of him). But leaders group is more complicated because of Akainu. He is not a villain for me. He is just doing his job. I don't see him being on Imu's side when all truth will be revealed but at the same time he really hates Dragon for some reason. That is why I think Akainu vs Dragon will happen but then they will rise against WG's leaders. The main mariner and former one will eventually fight Imu and Shamrock.

I didn't say there would be a fight between Buggy and Shanks at Lodestar, I just said that's where they'll play a role, they'll step in there.

Thats not bad, might actually work. I dont know if Oda has it in him to give Shanks the real evil twin.

I agree with everything fights

Except for Shamrock, I'm skeptical about him, I think a Shanks VS Shamrock duel remains a distinct possibility

I hope Oda wont go with this fighting evil twin/side trope. Seems a bad way to stall Shanks at some important plot point.
I see Shamrock as Oda needing Shanks to fight a good guy and not wanting to tarnish Shanks' reputation.
So while Shanks remains a good guy himself, evil Shanks can fill that role and die too if necessary.
That might give us a Dragon vs Shamrock.

Shit.

I hate it.

Oda is juxtaposing Sabo and Akainu.

Is the writing on the wall that Luffy will never get it back in blood against Akainu?

More than one way to interpret an image, whats clear to me is that the yonko hold the keys to impacting the outcome of the narrative in relation to who actually finds the one piece and what kind of thing it is. Even if one finds the one piece whos to say they would be the right person to use it? I don’t really think the image necessarily is saying the people on the bottom or in smaller panels are less important because clearly Imu and this whole void century thing is top of the list.

It all depends on the 3 Wildcards:
- Sakazuki
- Garling
- Kuzan
Their plans and reactions to the upcoming events will move the plot one way or another.
