i think this might happen...here's how :
First, Mihawk will have his promised duel with Zoro, and Zoro will defeat him..
But later, in the final chapters, the Straw Hats will face the Blackbeard Pirates.
But before that happen Shiryu could fight Mihawk, defeat him, and take his blade..(I think there could also be some connection between Shiryu and Mihawk. In Brook’s flashback, we see someone with Imu who looks like Shiryu. He could be Shiryu’s father. Maybe Shiryu’s father had a duel with Mihawk in the past and lost..)
Mihawk would then lose his title as the World's Strongest Swordsman.
And finally, we get the last fight:
Zoro vs. Shiryu... shiriyu will be defeated..
