My theory:

they send thousands of bots without accounts to scrape data from these forums, probably some Indian guy or whatever trying to make an OP site somewhere and wants it to look "legit" or "human" so he steals info from powerscaling retards here,

or simply just trolling to crash the site

My hypothesis:

if admins locked this site to log-in only and no logged-out / guest / anonymous browsing, then we'd likely have way less crashes.

of course, the bots can make fake accounts too (they already do lol) but at least those are easier to track down and ban

Conclusion:
