very interesting information regarding The first Son of the Sea
and his physiological development.
Even just the nickname First Son of the Sea.
Oda has stated that Jinbe is unusual compared to the other males of the Straw Hat crew. How you may ask?
Jinbe is a whale shark. This explains why Jinbe seems to hold more weight in his body. It also explains why Jinbe is Indic and South Asian, as modern studies show insulin resistance is higher in South Asians meaning they store fat more.
But the reason why Oda revealed that Jinbe has not one, but TWO male appendages. This mystery has yet to be revealed. What is Oda trying to say? What was the reasoning behind this reveal?
I theorize Oda was trying to allude to the fact that South Asians have a very high birth rate, and are thus whale sharks in this regard. So Oda is simply saying South Asian males are very virile and manly.
Eichiiro Oda is a very shrewd fellow. He seems to be alluding to Jinbe’s harem in the future akin to Urouge and Big Daddy Saran.
This is further expanded upon as all three of these characters are South Asian males.
