Here’s The Context:
Fight that takes Place in The Rain
We Have
Sanji: A Fiery Black Leg Martial Artist with Amazing Speed who can Fly.
Killingham: A Mythical Kirin Zoan who’s Efficient with the Blade/Spear , can manifest nightmares, and can also Fly.

Killinghams Power Controls Zaza and The Dream Monsters of Elbaf. Giants are stalling Zaza for the time being.

Conquerors Haki is the only way to defeat Killingham.

Has the potential to be Sanji's best fight so far but I fear Oda will not write it to it's full potential coz the Holy Knights are not supposed to be all that.

Can't really complain about Kiringham from an ability stack perspective.
- Can fight aerially which is something Sanji fans have wanted for the longest.
- He's a mythical zoan so he has all the physcial perks of your typical zoan + his special ability hax
- Has hax summoning abilities but is also competent in CQC
- Has immortality hax as well

Then on top of that, you add the Omen buff, in addition to whatever hax Longinus has, so it makes for a very sexy propostion.

Then there's the fact that his nightmares could potentially serve as narrative props for Sanji's CoC plot line.
Kiringham could conjure up Judge potentially, Stealth Black or even Evil Sanji from the SBS. So he could be a very intersting opponent from a narrative perspecitve.

There could also be interesting twists from a character perpsevtive as Kiringham's personality seems to change depending on which type of hybrid form he takes.

So much potential there but Oda can only write so much into a few chapters. Plus Holy Knights are not really pulling up an trees so not very optimistic about Oda really getting in his bag with Kiringham.

Depends on which side you are on. If Sanji is equal to Zoro as many people like to claim, then KHam should be dealt with in similar fashion as Sommers like a practice dummy with KHam not being able to land a single direct hit on Sanji.
When you look at how CoC awakening and ACoC is unlocked you expect a fight that pushes the character to the brink. You ask a fan of any character how they would want their fav to unlock probably the strongest PU in the story and they would want an epic struggle, a character defining moment etc. you dont want it unlocked in a practice dummy fight.
I dont know how Oda will handle this, maybe he goes the DBZ route where the SSJ transformation held so much hype for so long and then SSJ2 of Gohan and then we find that kid Trunks and Goten have unlocked SSJ as kids practicing.
I seriously hope Oda delivers with Sanji unlocking ACoC, with how Sommers fight just went the whole thing doesnt make sense from the progression we used to have. With Omen and Gram buffed Sommers blocking and pushing back DD we expected a really tough fight to push Zoro to the next level and next we see Zoro using Sommers as practice dummy.
I guess maybe the key to unlocking Sanjis CoC is specifically through KHam brining out his nightmare and then Sanji defeating KHam and the nightmare monster and finding his sense of self.

Didnt notice that, how are tehy different?
Kiringham was a lot more level headed on his first introduction in his top kirin / bottom human form but then his personality became more erratic in his top human / bottom kirin form. Personality change seems a bit to drastic for me for it to just be a nothing buger but then again this is Oda we talking about :risisweat:

He had a bottom human form? I thought they were both Kirin bottom forms.

My bad
I dont remember him standing up straight like a human in this form, this position is weird, is he falling. It took me some time to understand that he is on one knee, his other leg is raised up and his cape/coat is flowing backwards. This just shows that as an awakened mythical zoan he has great mastery of his DF.
there is panels of him standing on two feet, one that comes to mind was when he set the library on fire.
this is one of them.

Mythical zoans are capable of partial transformations unlike other zoans. Not all of them have shown to be capable of it but we've seen something similar with Nasujuro and Marco in the past iirc.

LMAO this design is goofy as shit
Good thing Oda switched to the other design. His neck and above is Zoan, rest of his body is human and then he has the Zoan tail, wtf.

Exactly unlike Queen Killingham from an ability standpoint is promising,
