I've always talked about what Sanji lacks in his Martial Arts, He always relies on his Endurance to Win,
And this Chapter just mentioned that & described it as tendency to self-harm,

While Luffy & Zoro Fights most time end in them facing Opponent's Technique with their own & Winning,
Sanji instead wins because He have better Endurance than his Opponent, (Not that He can't win without that, but the point is that He nerfs himself by relying on his Body's Endurance to secure his win)

Against Kuroobi, the Fight was basically Sanji receiving a free beat-up underwater, and then Kuroobi taking one on Land, difference?
Sanji endured, but Kuroobi didn't.

Against Mr. 2, both exchanged their finishing moves at same time, but unlike Zoro Fight, both hit each other, difference?
Sanji endured Mr. 2's Attack, but Mr. 2 didn't.

Against Satori, it was more of a survival challenge than a real fight, and once Luffy grabbed Satori, Sanji appeared and Satory was shocked that He survived his Attacks, then Sanji one-shot him.

Against Jabra, Sanji didn't win immediately after unlocking Diable Jambe, the final attack was delivered after Sanji allowed himself to get hit by Jabra's Attack (Half of it), just so He can secure a direct hit to his face, guarenteeing the win.

Same thing for Absalom Fight, where He was protecting Nami & only grabbed Absalom after he allowed himself to get stabbed, and same thing for Queen Fight, it was a mental struggle, and He delivered his finishing move after Queen was Distracted,

I'm not saying Sanji's Martial Arts is Weak, it's obviously Very Powerful, but we almost never see him win in a direct confrontation where it's an Attack vs Attack, He always allow himself to get hit as many times as needed, till he finds an opening to deliver his Powerful Kicks.

Ivankov is very suitable to explain this weakness to Sanji cuz He is a Martial Artist himself and his Signature Attack is Ranged, not just him, but Fish-Men Karate Users also can be effective without endangering their bodies when landing attacks, same for Chinjao/Sai's Vibrations, same for Rokushiki Users, same for Sentomaru, same for Sabo's Dragon Fist, same for Burgess ... etc

Oda didn't even let Sanji be interested in Rankyaku, that shows that his Weakness is clearly about putting his Body in constant danger to deliver his Attacks, I think Sanji need to throw some fire bomb/haoshoku haki infused kicks, that's the power-up he needs, basically similar to Kizaru's Kick when He was introduced, except it's Flames & Haki.
That actually makes a lot of sense

Can you stop saying dumb shit for once?
Zoro could already hurt Sommers, that's why he is very scared yet he is still not getting one tapped
Gaban could hurt the jobbers, he still didn't one tap them
Actually those jobbers already survived multiple encounters against Roger Pirates

So stop saying Sanji one tap him and stop being the site's clown
I will never give up being the sites #1 Clown. I won that honor extreme diff in a triple threat match against @MonochromeYoru and @DarkestKnightofSpoilers

And as someone yourself who has been one tapped by Sanji's huge CoC today, you should know how dangerous it is. Killingham one tapped soon.

1196 - 1197 continue the Sanji's fight, with 1197 ending on the cliffhanger of Sanji's finishing move
1198 - IMU gets back up and struggles against Hybrid Loki; maybe IMU reveals a third form
1199 - Sommers plummets in front of IMU, is immediately one-shot by Zoro; IMU stumbles back weakened. Then, Killingham is finished off, and IMU takes more damage. Chapter ends with Luffy and Hybrid Loki once again doing a combined attack, KOing IMU
1200 - The King of the World's Last Thoughts: Flashback of What Took Place 900 Years Ago

2027 is the Void Century year
Nah, the VC flashback is in the final arc. We might get some snippets from Imu's memory, but definitely not the full history.

Doggo

Talent is something you make bloom.

What bet?
That Sanji will finally get CoC in this arc?

When actually all these CoC talk turns out to be red herring, and Sanji beat Killingham with something else but he never get CoC this arc
You guys gotta look so dumb (if not already)
And the best part is you guys already acting so confident already :suresure:
THAT'S the best part.
He bet Sanji wont get CoC at all until EoS.
So EVEN if Oda pulled a 180 and decided not to give it to him now, I would just have to wait a bit more.
Easiest bet of my life.
:pepegg:

Imo, the flashback being now(end of elbaf) is perfect. It isn't oda's style but it would really work.

Get the VC flashback outta the way before the final war so it can cut the fluff out of the action scenes. We already have BB flashback, BB pirates lore flashback, probably admiral flashbacks, flashbacks on what the grand fleet and every ally of the straw hats did up to the final war. The VC flashback is going to be huge, put it on top of that and we are drowning in flashback

But I know damn well that were gonna get all of it in the same arc while hype fights get off panelled.. this is lore piece after all

Chapter is really great .

Didn't like sanji part about sacrificing its just repeatable thing robin did.
Anyway the gate is open lets see what ivan 😏 is hiding behind this door .

Why sanji locked this memory from ts
Okama kenpo , using his hands in fight , trans sanji , hmm
Maybe this weakness Sanji has, is the same weakness Crocodile had and we get an answer on that aswell.

I think the Void Century lore needs a more buildup in arc, especially with Robin eventually finding the Rio Poneglyph and narrating the story herself. Oden also said that they only learned about the history of the Void Century once they reached Laugh Tale, so IMO, Elbaf doesn’t really feel like the right place to fully reveal it.
