DCEU: Lanterns (HBO Max)

[Yoho]

Solid series I think it would of been better if the Sheriff was the man hunter, her son being it felt like a last minute decision but otherwise wasn't bad

Solid 7/10 series far from perfect but way way better than what I was expecting

What an amazing finale. It's a home run for me.

Same!

The way they handled Hal's death in the finale...

Nuke the entire writing room, holy fuck.

Best superhero tv series.

But the handling of Hal's death was whimsical and kinda off-screened. Not a big fan of it even though it wasn't that bad either.

Killing a fan favorite and there being no repercussions is certainly a choice

The crazy part is he wasn’t even suggesting doing anything bad to Noah and Kerry just murdered him in cold blood for basically no reason with no consequences. Crazy writing tbh

Wow, now that I know that Grant Morrison didn’t like the ending, I’ll now do a complete 180 and declare that the ending is just as bad as GoT S8

Is Infinity War dogshit because Scorsese didn’t like it?

[Logiko]

that didn't stick the landing

In what way ?

[Roo]

Is Infinity War dogshit because Scorsese didn’t like it?

Scorsese doesn’t like the genre, Morrison is literally a comics book writer, one of the best at that.

and lowkey infinity war is shit compared to goodfellas. It’s best to enjoy things for what they are instead of acting like they’re better than
