I wasn't wrong that maybe, just maybe, inventing serious character debilitating trauma that retcons the whole 1200 chapters (instead of letting him having the classic "sacrifice myself for the crew" arc like Nami (partially) and Robin had, because again, sanji isn't the only one that thought they were "the problem" for the crew), what do you say?
All because he couldn't write a simple self acceptance story about his germa side.
It's not just powerscaling, good writing fc might be ignoring that oda went a bit overboard with the trauma thingy.
The fear he has towards Ivankov stems from the fact that they were the only ones to pinpoint Sanji’s fundamental weakness. He’s insecure about it, and it brings him feelings of profound shame. That’s why he suppresses those memories. He gets hit by the Okamas because he allows himself to get hit; it’s a manifestation of his defectiveness schema. Robin and Sanji are different characters, and different people process things differently. Also, like I said before, WCI resolved one aspect of his mental flaws, not it's entirety.

You can CLEARLY see how people didnt give a fuck about sanji's story and are now acting outraged because the character isn't following the line they thought it would be....being in the sidelines forever and "getting out of the monster trio".
