Chapter Discussion One Piece chapter 1196: The Love of those who seek death is worthless

[ImuTop1]

This is how a Supreme King speaks. Fair enough Sanji, I feel the Conqueror aura.

[Raiden7]

More Sanji Villains like this Oda

He really loves Sanji

[kekaro]

Sanji piece will continue till the salty bitching stops and moral improves

This is Better Choreographed Than The Jabra Fight, Argue with ya Mothers.

I don't know, I would like to see this fight on tankobons. Jabra fight was crazy, it's hard to do better and Jabra design is better than Killingham for me

[Sbinotto]

Killingham doesn't know who is Iva

It's over for WorstGen

[Sbinotto]

Glad to see people finally moving away from Z v S and waking up to the Wings agenda brother

I always thinked the wings thing is not related to strenght but to importance to Luffy, so 0 problem with that

Importance ? Wings ? Hell nah

[Devilbat]

It's interesting how Sanji's face in the last panel really reminds me of Japanese gravures. Oda went all out, even referencing classical Japanese art for Sanji.

He looks at Killingham same way this samurai looks at frogs.

[pg13]

Are we in Post Timeskip Sanji> Pre Timeskip Sanji territory at this point?

[SDfear]

Pre ts - Prince Sanji still Goated
@pg13

This right now is King Sanji in making

I'd say we're closing in. I still remember that pre-FI embarrassment. But on another hand, this fight and all that character development finally starts paying off.

I wonder if Killin will fuse with ZaZa out of desperation when Sanji is about to end him. He'd likely lose his mind in the process, but it makes sense. He sees ZaZa as supremely powerful, and since it's a water entity, maybe he figures he can counter Sanji's fire. It would also show that Sanji has become his worst fear, to the point he's willing to seek protection in ZaZa. Leading to a final blow where Sanji uses his fire and COC to evaporate him out of existence. I'd actually prefer that. Probably won't happen.

This was a VERY good chapter, glad to know Oda is still capable of writing some decent fights
