2/ He used his signature attack, "Meigo," but failed to stop a 1HP severely injured, brain-dead, and tortured Kuma.
Afterward, 1 HP Kuma still had the strength to defeat New Pacifistas and Vice Admirals, land a punch on Saturn, and save Bonney from an attack using his back, this is how much Meigo affected him with literally nothing lmao :

Marco has completely superb portrayal. Literally he has never had even one bad showing against any top tiers who weren’t Admirals.
This dude stalled prime Rayleigh as a teenager and while not even serious, for 3 days straight
This dude straight up made Big Mom run away in a clean 1v1, he destroyed all her homies and she had to beg Perospero for help
This dude solo’d King and Queen, and after he solo’d King and Queen, he easily blocked Kaido’s bolo breath
Literally Marco’s portrayal is absolutely stellar, no other YC can claim to so consistently punch up against top tiers and come out equal or even winning. The only reason people are even doubting him is that he hasn’t proven if he has the magic gay boy Haki yet, despite consistently clashing evenly or even winning against characters who do have the gay boy Haki like Gayleigh, Crydo, and Big Job.
Marco is him, Ivankov’s rival wishes he was so worthy of clashing against top tiers instead of being dominated by Vista and Jozu
