Actually this is 100% happening, Oda always adds something like that.

I think it's most likely that Imu will retreat, but I think Oda could stall to the point that in 1200 we will get an epic (in Oda's opinion) panel of Imu, Sommers and Killingham being defeated at the same time.

But we also might get a lore drop!

I don't know if it will happen something big. I do want that Imu and his faction get something accomplished to rise the stakes more. That's what I want and I hope it will happen.
Yeah, that's why I have an option of "more HK forces arrive". HK are bums, but still unbeatable unless you have CoC, and everyone but Zoro is quite spent.
I mean, temple bros would probably enjoy Zoro soloing all HKs in one go, but I doubt Oda will do that. Plus there is still a bit of hope for Shamrock to be strong, he's Shanks evil twin after all.

So I think that something unexpected still might happen, but I don't think there are going to be any high stakes ever in OP for me

Imo it's almost definitely gonna be a Nika chapter.
My guess is that whatever Luffy noticed the last time we saw him was whatever it was that Lily left behind on Elbaf which will most likely tie into Luffy's Next Power Up so next few chapters will probably be something like this:
1197 -> Sanji's CoC Awakening
1198 -> Conclusion of Sanji's fight and potentially Zoro's (I'm skeptical that the Holy Knights are gonna be killed here tbh)
1199 -> Hybrid Loki v Imu
1200 -> Void Century Reveal + Luffy Power Up

Exactly. I think the same. I see it clearly how it can likely be Lufffys power up. We already had Sanji and Zoro show off, only Luffy is missing.

I really didn't think it would make sense to beat Imu at this stage, but it's hard to imagine this sort of investment if they don't now. We already have our hint of Luffy failing upwards, Shuri has yet to provide the value that she obviously will, Chopper's group will have an important key, and the HK are cooked.

I think 1200 gives us the concept of what happens next for Luffy post victory if not his victory itself

Just curious what do you think will happen and why. Maybe Gaban dies. Maybe Jarul becomes 400 years younger thanks so Bonney. Unleash your imagination!
The 1st confirmed instance of Oda fucking with the series pacing in order for a certain event to happen on a certain chapter was Dragon in Logue Town in Chapter 100.

Which in retrospect is FUCKING HILARIOUS, the dude that is routinely clowned for DOING NOTHING for years was so important to Oda in Logue Town, that Oda skipped over a lot of other stuff he wanted to include, much of which made its way into the anime.

Immediately after Dragon's introduction, we meet Laboon and Vivi. Next arc we are introduced to Crocodile as a character in Whiskey Peak, and in Little Garden Vivi meets the Giants, Dorry and Brogy.

Karoo and Vivi are the 11th and 12th Straw Hat, and she's been teased as returning multiple times, most recently with the X on Luffy's arm in Morgan's WEJ. Vivi planted that X to let the Straw Hats know she was returning to them.

The 12th Straw Hat will return in Chapter 1200, which is why I believe Biblo's Tool is most likely a weapon Vivi can use to fight back against Imu. This fits well, since in terms of RPG Classes, which Oda likes fucking around with, Vivi would be a priestess. Zaza is also a clear refence to Vivi/Alabasta, so I wouldn't be surprised if Lili/Biblo's Tool allows Vivi to manipulate Water/Zaza. Maybe Spirits?

But, that's just the beginning.

As I've said before, many strong groups will come to Egghead, for a few reasons:

1. Those with top tier Observation Haki like Mihawk, Shanks, and Zunesha will sense Imu's arrival on Elbaph
2. Blackbeard wants to continue Rocks' Legacy, which was heavily focused on Elbaph
3. Yonkou Crew will want to recruit Loki because he can easily change the tide of the Final War, even without other Giants behind him.
4. Those who want to see Luffy/the Straw Hats know they went to Elbaph because of Morgan's Egghead reporting

So, here's who I have coming:

1. Shamrock and Garling. Zoro vs Shamrock (3 Swords vs 3 Dogs), Sanji vs Garling (horrible father that brainwashes children and is now in charge of the Science Division that turned Bonney's Dad Kuma into Slave Robots. Garling has A TON of narrative evidence that indicates he's a Sanji fight).

2. Moria and Perona. Moria has already been to Elbaph to steal Oars corpse, IMO, after Kaido destroyed him. Moria's entire goal was to destroy Kaido and free Wano, which the Straw Hats accomplished, and while Luffy did defeat Moria, the Straw Hats did not harm/kill any of Moria's direct crew, only zombies. For this reason, Moria is now a giant Luffy/Straw Hats fanboy, and, as a Samurai of Wano who is bound by honor, Moria will seek to repay this life debt by finding and serving Luffy.

3. Boa, Rayleigh, Shakky. There's absolutely no way the Kuja can stay on Amazon Lily. The WG has even the children/mainlanders who don't sail as Kuja Pirates and Pirates, so, Boa needs to relocate the entire damn Tribe, since the Calm Belt can no longer protect them due to Vegapunk's ships and Boa's Shichibukai Status being revoked. The Kuja Flagship, the Perfume Yuda, is unique in that it is pulled by two Yuda, the Giant Snake dudes. The Yuda are rare beasts because they are one of the only creatures (Crocodile's Bananawanai being another) that actually prey upon Sea Kings. This is why the Kuja can sail through the Calm Belt in the first place. This means Boa easily has the means/knowledge to reach Luffy, and, like Gyaban, I think Rayleigh wants to visit Wano now that it's open to friends visiting. This also allows Shakky to interact with Imu/Sommers, and Garling if he shows up like I think he will.

4. Shanks. If Shanks doesn't show up here, he's getting put on fraudwatch. Ain't no way you pull up to Green Bull with the whole crew, join up with the Giants to fight Kidd, then duck Imu in Elbaph. Get over here, Shanks. What did Sengoku say to Garp in Marineford? "It's your damn family again!" We also need to deal with Bonney being Shanks's relative through either Garling or Shamrock raping Ginny (I think it was Garling).

5. Cross Guild. Croc and Mihawk were talking about how they need Military Might to create their Utopia. Buggy's Delivery was originally working closely with the New Giant Warrior Pirates, and Cross Guild offers Loki the ability to hunts Marines, and possibly other targets. I think Cross Guild will upgrade to hunting Celestial Dragons, and want Loki in on it. I think Mihawk at least shows up here with Buggy for negotiations, and to recruit Loki.

6. Blackbeard. Between Harald/Xebec, the Fruit Rocks wanted, Galleila, Loki himself, Elbaph's natural resources like Adam Wood, and it's connections to the Ancient History, the real question is "when are the Blackbeard Pirates showing up in Elbaph", not "if". Caribou has Teach primed to steal Shirahoshi and Pluton, but, if the Galleila connect to Pluton like I believe, Teach needs them. I still believe Teach will access the Abyss by Awakening his Yami Yami no Mi, and this will allow him to attack multiple fronts at once. Since Kuzan is so connected to Robin, Saul, Ohara, and Pluton, I think he shows up here to try to get Robin.

7. Zunesha. Zunesha came to Wano for Joy Boy, I think Zunesha is coming to Elbaph for Imu. This allows Law to interact with Imu, and lets Carrot finally meet the Giants.

8. Dragon and the Revs. Between Kuma, Bonney, Luffy, and Robin, if Dragon doesn't show up here, I've just had it up to here, man.

In terms of people here, I think the most interesting 3 groups are these: Kidd Pirates, Bonney/Kuma, and the Giants themselves.

1. Kidd Pirates will show up in Giant Viking Mechs. Kidd has had a while to study Elbaph's ancient tech, and I believe he was saved by Saul from drowning. IMO, Elbaph has a lot of ancient areas that Giants have a hard time accessing due to their size, which humans can easily slip into. Since Saul has been effectively hiding Kidd, and Kidd is incredibly loyal, he's going to go crazy against the God's Knights over what they've done to Saul/Elbaph. Keep in mind Kidd has no beef with Elbaph, just Shanks. I think Sommer's heart is metal for a reason, and he's not going to have fun against Kidd.

2. I'm going to actually loop Bonney/Kuma and the Giants together, because, I do believe Bonney won't fight here, like she promised Lilith, but instead will turn everyone into their primes.

-Prime Luffy
-Prime Gyaban (possibly as a Giant)
-Prime Colon
-Prime Jarul
-Prime Harjudin (possibly as an Oni Super Giant, like Loki)
-PRIME ZUNESHA???
-Nika/Gear 5 Kuma
-SOGEKING

My most anticipated/desired moment in Elbaph is for Bonney to Distort Usopp's Future into the Brave Warrior of the Sea, the Giant Sniper, Sogeking. Giant Usopp lifting Ragnir and shooting Ragnir out of his Kabuto into Imu's face would give me life.

IMO, the Straw Hats are going to start losing soonish, and that's when we'll see reinforcements arrive, and the Giants seriously fight back.

As I've stated before, the most likely method to remove Imu from Elbaph is knocking him as far away from the Magic Circle as possible, like Mars in Egghead.

This leads me to believe that Kuma himself will actually get the final hit on Imu here, and send him back to Marijoa via Paw Pad Bubble.

After this, Shuri needs to help the Straw Hats destroy the Magic Circles so Imu and his forces can't just teleport back in.

I hope Brook will awaken while fighting Shuri, as well.

I also hope Imu summons in more God's Knights besides Shamrock and Garling.

After this arc, I believe Imu will realize the failings of the God's Knights, and begin making pacts with the Marines by blackmailing them.

The reason Kizaru can't leave his position is simple: look what happened to Ohara and Lulusia. Imu will destroy your homeland, if you rebel against him as a high ranking Marine. Imu will blackmail some of the strongest Marines into becoming his Vassals, like Shuri most likely was blackmailed.

Sometime at the end of this arc, the Straw Hats will realize from Kuzan/Blackbeard that Teach is going after Pluton in Wano, and will be forced to go back to deal with Blackbeard attacking their Allies.

This will lead to the Celestial Dragons Human Hunt on Wano, and the WG/Marines, Blackbeard, Cross Guild (still possibly CG and BB ally, but they would betray each other sooner rather than later), Shanks, and the Straw Hats + allies all fighting over Pluton. After missing out on Loki/the Giants, the WG will turn to Pluton to solve their military problems.

We will see Rob Lucci and Kaku again, as well, since Pluton was their original goal.

Probably 20-25 more chapters of Elbaph. It's going to take a lot to get Imu out of this country. While I have Kuma dealing the final blow to knock Imu out of Elbaph, I believe we'll see multiple top tiers imitate this panel against Imu, here:

Elbaph is meant to be an inverse of God Valley. Imu intends to genocide (this time purely culturally) an island full of a Tribe that is of the D.

The difference? God Valley was an isolated nation full of farmers n shit.

This is THE FUCKING WARLAND, ELBAPH.

Imu bit off way more than they could chew, AGAIN, learning nothing from Harald. The real lesson to learn was: The Giants have too much Pride and Strength to fall to you.

I was getting worried during the Brook flashback, but, the Zoro/Sanji chapters have reassured me that Oda is finally back in his bag, like he was in Whole Cake.

End of Elbaph should be a lot of fun.
