I don't think thats relevant. Law fought off Doc Q's hax without having Conquerors himself (tbat we or Law know of, and Law isn't Zoro; I doubt he would be using a power he didn't remotely understand, he's too.....Law for that. Lol. He feels like the type to obsess over anything he doesn't fully understand rather than roll with it). So you don't need it to negate certain DF hax. And the reason Law gave for why he couldn't directly affect BM or Kaido was because their Haki was just THAT strong.
So it seems to be the strength of your Haki compared to your opponent, not just having a certain KIND of Haki.
That said, Kid and Law's Awakenings both worked on BM (and Yonko Luffy got affected by Bonney's power; while Saturn didn't), so go figure? 😅
Maybe its both strength AND knowing how to negate DF hax.

Like i already said the Germa PU was not necessary. There are equivalent options that could be achieved without turning Sanji into a Germa Modified Human...which Sanji despises. The whole WCI Arc was about Sanji being Human and Oda threw that out for no fucking reason. Just to now go back to giving him those equivalent options...
The whole theme about Sanji's story was that being Human, is better than whatever Judge was doing. Sanji achieved all that with determination and hard work. That is a very nice message. Then Oda went ''Nah, fuck that, let's turn Sanji into a Germa Soldier...'' - proving Judge right lol

BM for example was not Modified and was one of the most durable Characters in the story and Oda could have easily made Sanji more Durable than her by having better Haki.
