Of course he wasn't as intimidated lol because zoro was leaking adcoc everwhere when he traumatized lommers. Zoro only used tiny amount of it to finish off lucci he would be pissing himself same way or worse in the same situation as lommers are you seething not even gaban terrified him to the same extent as zoro 
In retrospective Zoro ended his fight because he accidentally leaked his CoC.
Zoro vs Sommers was absolute ass, based on the lack of build up to controll CoC. Mihawks yapping some shit and Zoro all of a sudden ''got it''. Could have been done much better. Especialy for someone as slow as Zoro to understand the nothing burger of Mihawks ''explanation'' feels as if Oda simply didn't wanted to bother himself with that and get it over with lol
Then Sommers himself was an absolute clown, incompetent af and the most pathetic showcase of any villian in the story...straight up embarrassing. Instead of fighting he started crying...
And then Zoro's PU - i mean his PU was learning to controll CoC and a tiny baby lightning cut i guess lol
If you compare that to Sanji's PU it's almost laughable.

Sanji vs KH is worlds better. Yes KH in terms of fighting ability is nothing to Sanji, only his Regen and the lack of CoC for Sanji was the problem. But KH is actualy fighting back and even in this chapter, he is stil powering up and using an Omen Armor to protect himself.
We will have to see how he is gonna react to Sanji's CoC, maybe next chapter, but i doubt he is gonna start crying and running away lmao
Sanji FB in the previous chapter was great and an awesome message for the readers aswell. His lack of self love makes sense based on his childhood, but that he would take more damage than he needed seemed kinda forced imo. Simply because that's how Shonen fights go, you want to see the good guys struggle before over coming the bad guy. So i don't think it makes sense to go back to realy old fights and say he wouldn't be hit if he loved himself more back then. I mean, other characters love themselfs too, but stil get hit.
But you can defintely make arguments for the newer fights, which may or may not be simply inconsistency by Oda. But it fits into the narrative here, so i am fine with it.
And it's not like Sanji will never get hit ever again in the story, that just would kill any tension in his future fights. But he will be harder to hit and IF you hit him, he will be extremely difficult to damage.
Now, is it rushed? Sure. Which is why i wanted Oda to give Sanji CoC earlier to give him a chance to hone it. But i do like the idea that he was blocking it himself and he reached his limit. Breaking through that limit allowed him to access new things he was blocking off before.
But the rushed part is a problem in OP for pretty much ever, i mean the worst example is probably Luffy getting 1 shot by Kaidou to beating him 1 week later lol
Considering how slow the pacing is in OP and how Oda loves to waste his time on absolutely useless stuff that often doesn't lead to anything, he sure af doesn't mind rushing PU's lol
Now to Sanji's PU's, we stil gonna have to see the raws, but so far it's absolutely insane!
He got a new flame probably because of his CoA or CoA+CoC?
He broke 1 of the 20 Legendary founder weapons by simply blocking the hit lol - I mean, that is just absolutely crazy!
His CoA reached an absurd level and he got AdvCoC!
He also broke or will brake KH's Omen armor and if we remember Omen is supposed to counter CoC lmao
Compared to all that Zoro's fight and PU was absolute ass lmao
