Outside of this and the previous chapter can you show me an examples of Sanji not loving himself—as an adult
On top of my head, don’t lose yourself in nitpicking one or two examples to ignore the entire point. :
Chapter 56–59 (Baratie): Sanji willingly lets Pearl beat him to death to repay his debt to Zeff. Luffy actually calls him out for throwing his life away when Zeff sacrificed so much to save it.
Chapter 284 (Skypiea): Sanji deliberately takes Enel’s lightning attack so Nami and Usopp can escape, with no apparent plan for his own survival.
Chapter 403 (Enies Lobby): Sanji allows Kalifa to nearly kill him rather than compromise his principles. Nami explicitly questions his willingness to die over this.
Chapter 485 (Thriller Bark): Probably the most obvious example. Sanji offers his life to Kuma and tells Zoro that the crew can simply find another cook. He literally considers himself replaceable.
Chapters 844 and 856 (Whole Cake Island): Sanji sacrifices his own happiness. Even after Luffy comes to rescue him, Sanji insists he doesn’t deserve to return because he attacked his captain. Luffy has to force him to admit what he actually wants.
Chapter 1031 (Wano): Sanji questions whether Luffy would prefer a cook who’s useless against women or an emotionless soldier who can accomplish anything. He also asks Zoro to kill him if he loses his humanity.
None of these individually proves Sanji hates himself. But there’s a pretty consistent pattern of him valuing other people’s lives and dreams above his own, sometimes to the point of treating himself as disposable.
