That’s why the Zoro fandom is cooler. Zoro doesn’t mess around with all that sappy, touchy-feely nonsense. He just does what needs to be done, drops a badass line, and unleashes an attack with some schizo sounding name.
But you said "sanji will not get black flames, look at blue flames, which is an actual thing."
I just dont agree. This chapter is proof against it. The literal highest degree flames in the real world are blue-white flames which sanji already has, yet he is getting an upgrade, which doesnt even make sense
If anything this chapter is proof oda is going into the magic realm now
I have Law showing Supreme King against Blackbeard in a rematch. What do you think?
I could also see it being a Gorosei/God's Knight.
Law's hatred for the WG over Flevance Town and the White Lead still needs to be explored. Which is why I'm hoping Zunesha felt Imu's Haki spawn in, and is sauntering over to Elbaph with Bepo and Law on board.
Wasn't the incident with Flecance one of the few times the WG was NOT primarily responsible for the shit show that occurred? I think their only involvement was like some middle management inspector discovered that the white lead was toxic, reported it to the rulers of Flevance, and they didn't care because they were greedy. After that it was just human nature, greed and fear. The WG's biggest crime there was not intervening abd stopping everything that happened with Flevance and the surrounding nations, which is......a lot less than they usually do. Lol. I doubt Law has a crazy amount of hatred for them specifically, over say.....the unnamed country whose soldiers murdered his family.
Im so confused, so does he reject the modifications or is it more an acceptance of it being passive? This whole eyebrow thing has been so poorly portrayed!
Gonna have to wait for the scans in regards to the brow thing, but imo it would be much more poignant thematically if it's about Sanji reappropriating the modifications inside of him as something of his own, not rejecting them.
There are just a lot of Sanji fans enamored with the idea of him having a choice over his Germa buffs, so he has a base mode and an enhanced mode.
Not only is the concept of an on-and-off switch for genetic mutations stupid, it completely dilutes the dilemma Sanji was facing when he made peace with the changes.
Sanji is no longer allowing Germa to define his relationship with his body.
That doesn't mean the Germa buffs go away - they can't - but it does mean he's accepting his body as his own, i.e. he's choosing self-love and is stronger for it.
@Doggo we really need to see the dialogue this chapter. Because the way it’s phrased in redons mini section it sounds like Sanjis monologue is about him protecting this body from Germa not accepting his body.

Yes, but the genes are from Judge!
That's like saying my mother gave birth to me and my stepfather trained me. Like, really?! You are still a product of your father.
His dialogue doesnt convey this in any way. I am just confused by this!

His body is literally a product of Germa's science. Now he may say that his body just isnt Germa's but a product of his mom, zeff and Ivankov, but 'sticking his head in the sand' about his body not being influenced by Germa is absurd.
Where @Mr. Reloaded goes, betrayal follows. Today it's the Temple, after that - Mr Prince and his fans. We never know when, we don't know who will get backstabbed, but we know that it's inevitable.
Btw, @Mr. Reloaded, what is with that timer? I remember you set up a plan for betrayal in like 2 years some time ago, has it already happened or is the clock still ticking?
