Powers & Abilities Sanji’s power-up is impressive. Unfortunately, it also proves we were right about him being weak.

Dresseosa in when zoro started using his abilities. Ph zoro and earlier basically walked through the arcs with 0 challenges. Dressrosa zoro shown his serious none haki are comparable with g3. Then he had g4 level attacks with haki. This is on top of him still having asura. You gonna say vergo can beat zoro at any point post time skip? Sanji couldn't beat vergo till wano. That is flat out obvious. The only reason anyone says different is because zoro could beat verge before then and obviously sanji = zoro so sanji can to for get sanji's feats.

The only thing the powerup did is make it such that Zorotards can't dismiss his power. Sanji was always ridiculously underscaled by ztards, any way feat dismissed as Sanji did it, it is not impressive. The reason why this powerup seems drastic to you is because you ridiculously undervalued Sanji's abilities. Sanji and Zoro had same and equivalent power ups this arc. They are at samelevel. What happened was you now cant undermine Sanji's abilities.
How do you consider there power ups equal? Sanji got the same haki as Zoro and a few other buffs.

Most people ranked him accordingly. I for one post Wano had Zoro > all the other YC1s that we’d seen. Those were his counterparts at that point in the story.
I had Sanji above characters like Queen, the YC2 which were his counterparts at that point. Some Zoro fans even had Sanji at YC1 level. Essentially, we were rating them the same based on their counterparts.
He hadn’t shown anything to make people believe he was equal to Zoro. We scaled off of the information presented at the time, how could we be wrong for that or how is that undervaluing?

Bro, your logic is so stupid or your IQ is slow. That is calling character development looks like you learning stuffs. Before becoming a genius , a person must be learning. Learning is a tool. So Zoro , Sanji , Luffy must be stronger after they learn or acquire something important (fighting, learn from someone)
Pre-timeskip Sanji wasn’t weak as he pretty much stood shoulder to shoulder with Zoro, I mean he was always a little behind but never by much.
However imo the current part of the story is the first time that Sanji‘s been able to stand shoulder to shoulder with Zoro since the timeskip.
From what I can see Zoro didn’t have a single legitimate challenge post-timeskip until the rooftop with Kaido, Pica felt more like a training exercise to me. While on the other hand, Sanji was struggling and losing to Vergo of all people back in Punk Hazard.
Sanji had a significant power up handed to him just so he could be within Zoro‘s league for the start of Wano. While Zoro didn’t get a single power up post-timeskip until the end of Wano when he used CoC against King.
For what it’s worth I’m happy that Sanji is finally back to being shoulder to shoulder was Zoro. I wish that his massive power ups since FHI had been more justified and less handed to him, but I also wish that Oda gave Zoro more character development. Clearly Oda doesn’t have enough bandwidth to give both characters the attention that they deserve.
