Future Events Zoro and Sanji's fight against Sommers and Killingham is foreshadowing their future fights against Nusjuro and Ju Peter

For a while, most One Piece readers were predicting that Zoro and Sanji would fight against Nusjuro and Ju Peter, yes many Sanji fans also believed that he would fight agianst Peter, the switch up only happened during Egghead because Mars ended up being a cool mythical bird and of course some Sanji fans are obsessed with Sanji having an aerial battle.

Out of the OG Five Elders, it is not a coincidence that both Nusjuro and Ju Peter are the two whose design stands out the most compared to the others.

Then we have the Elbaf arc, in which two Holy Knights were introduced after Shamrock and Gunko which of course were Sommers and Killingham, these two of course also ended up being Zoro and Sanji's main fights of the arc.

Now notice that one of them Sommers is a member of the Shepherd Family, the same family as Ju Peter, and the other one Killingham can become a mythical centaur when he goes to his hybrid form, Nusjuro is the only Elder who also becomes a mythical centaur when he goes to his hybrid form.

Again Sommers and Ju Peter=Shepherd Family, and then Killingham and Nusjuro=Mythical Centaur when they are in hybrid form.

Sommers of course ended up being Zoro's fight and Killingham ended up being Sanji's fight, I believe Oda did this on purpose, so when Zoro and Sanji do fight against the Elders. The matchup would then be switched, with Zoro fighting against the mythical centaur this time, while Sanji fights against the head of the Shepherd Family.

I also want to point out that the Elders should have the Abyssal Covenant, now do they automatically also have Omen? Maybe but who knows.

Someone says that Sanji can't fight against Peter because Gram was already used, to me that is a dumb excuse for Sanji to not fight against Peter.

We don't know how these fights will go down, even though Sommers already used Gram, it most likely could still be used again by Peter.

Also who says that Peter needs to use a weapon when fighting? Peter could still fight against Sanji without using a weapon.

As for Nusjuro, Nusjuro might not even use his family weapon either, he will probably just focus on using the Shodai Kitetsu when fighting against Zoro.

So yeah, I do believe the fight against Sommers and Killingham is basically foreshadowing their future fights against Nusjuro and Ju Peter.

I completely agree.

I do think it's possible Peter uses a weapon belonging to another family. Like, let's say that his mother was from the Manmayer family. He could use that instead of gram and it could be something more fitting for a worm than a sword (gigantic armor or something? IDK it doesn't really matter)

Frankly all the Gorosei designs are Iconic.
Let that Nasujuro or Marcus or Topman.

But yea in terms of transformations Nasujuro is league ahead.

Also I don't know about the foreshadowing part, how is sanji dealing with a cenataur is supposed to be a foreshadowing of Zoro fighting one in future?

Also you can make an argument Gorosei Family heirloom weapons will be in general stronger than rest of the weapons. That's how Shounen on an average works.

Only difference being Nasujuro holds too much of Strength.
  • Common among all the Gorosei powers
    • Omen buff
    • Tol tier without Omen buff
    • Legendary weapon tax
    • Demonic transformation
  • Thing which seperates Nasujuro
    • Another supreme grade weapon user, that too one of the strongest, don't be surprised if he Dual weilds Muramasa and Shodai kitetsu. (Another hint of Oden Two sword style being the greatest and Oda message of making Zoro the strongest and Giving him three)
    • No scar. Nearly all the Gorosei have scars, problem is they are immortal, Only Marcus and Nasujuro doesn't. And in one piece no scar means something to swordsman. Means either they never lost or they were too good compared to other Gorosei when young.

For Sanji,
I'll just say Marcus is a far better opponent than Shepherd. Sanji is an aerial fighter, so is marcus.
One represents A mythical bird whereas sanji could Parallel Sora from one piece mythics.

As for weapon, I have no idea what Marcus can use as his among the one's we already know.

Nah Sanji vs Mars is a way better fight. Also if Sanji's fight was meant to be against JuPeter, then Sanji would.have fought Sommers instead. If it wasnt for Nusjuro's obvious Kitetsu connection then JuPeter would have been the best bet for fighting Zoro given Zoro is taking out his family member.

I don't know, that worm didn't stand out much at Egghead, while Mars did. I'd prefer Sanji fight him.

Ofcrs I'm also who thought Sommers was in line for Sanji - his intro was more in line with Sanji. I guess Oda just subverted expectations and since Sommers already had confrontations with Legends in past, Oda went with Zoro here. It's like in Water7 & EL, where Zoro fought Kaku (yet again an opponent that fit best with Sanji) and Oda had newly introduced Cp9 with Sanji, like Killingham here.

Let's see how this goes- there's no fix with Oda, it's not a clear hierarchy is shown amongst Gorosie, besides Puma/Top men the strongest.
