I think rather than the problem being Loki, the problem is how Imu could conceivably put himself in a position to lose. It seems less likely with each chapter that this guy has been able to rule the world for 800 years

Imu wiped the floor with the powerupped version of someone who had defeated Kaido two arcs ago. Also GV, etc.
No one, aside gods, even come close.

But he didn't know war God was really in Erbaf. Not even that Gaban was there, for what is worth, but he still managed to buy seconds.

Yeah, it's mostly fine if Loki and Luffy are supposed to be the strongest duo in the world, but the idea that Imu would pull up alone if this was enough to even come close is bad
