and I still dislike Imu, but I have to admit that he's been quite impressive. same for Loki, even though we can shit on him here and there, and ngl it's funny how Oda first glazed him, then offscreened him, still, the dude is stroooooooooong.

I believe the power up we see here is the Nika Fruit's own Zoan Will/Personality.
I really want Imu to fuse Sommers and Killingham together, but I think Sommers will get offed and Killingham will survive. Why? Because Sommers abandoned the mission, whereas Killingham, while running from Sanji, still put the kids on the ship.
Imu isn't going to punish Killingham just for being weak, or Sommers would have died after God Valley. Imu punishes insubordinance, not weakness. Doflamingo mindset. Sommers WILL get punished from fleeing the ship. Since Killingham did his job, I think he's safe. Sommers also straight up tried to murder the children at one point, COMPLETELY disobeying orders, I think he's doomed.
Imu and Loki have had wonderful showings, here, and I hope their personalities get filled out a bit more. It's rare we have characters introduced through so much combat, rather than character moments. Even with Loki's flashback, we saw little of him in it, and rarely saw his own thoughts. Lots of character left to explore.
I also ship Loki x Yamato on the condition that I'm wrong about Kaido being Harald's son. So, I'm tentatively shipping Loki x Yamato, unless Oda does a Harald/Kaido reveal. Either way, I really want to see Yamato and Loki interact, should be very funny. Especially if she introduces herself as Oden.
