CoC lost its importance with Lanji getting it. It's now just a basic ability everyone will have, the new CoA to hit Logias.
The only CoC relevant fighters will be Shanks and Dodger as they will get a level above the rest.

- Black Blades
etc

People are still failing to realize that Imu’s statement about Loki is the single greatest glaze that any character has ever received, and validates what we’ve been preaching all arc long. Loki is indeed the strongest top-tier in the modern world. The fact that Nika himself has to step in here just reinforces the facts.

Oda offscreening the fight is a strategic decision. It saves Imu’s face, preserves both of their move sets, and he can rush into whatever big shit he wants to do/reveal in 1200.

It's the opposite, Loki is so irrelevant that his most hyped up form, the one you were wanking for months on end and claimed would defeat Imu, was used solely as a powerscaling measuring stick by Oda. His Hybrid exists for one reason only, to give us a benchmark for how much better Luffy is about to do, the exact same with the original Yamato back in Wano.
