Elder Scrolls 6 Title Is 8 Letters Long

Yeah, looking into it now the set up for Hammerfell after Skyrim is extremely obvious. Hammerfell was the only human region that had not fallen to the Thalmor at that point so there was clearly set up for a conflict even in Skyrim.
You know what bugs me about all that? The Mede Dynasty was prepared to surrender southern Hammerfell to the Dominion to stop the war, and it only didn't happen because the Redguards kicked their pointy eared asses out themselves.

Like, fuck Talos, that is an utter betrayal of the empire's people and far more damning proof that Titus Mede was a worthless coward...but it is barely glossed over at all because of Talos.

That's part of the point. It's really obvious from rough leaks and context that a lot of the overarching Tamriel events in Skyrim that we don't see in game but hear about were clear set up for Sentinel. The Thalmor's presence also makes way more sense since they were presented as a massive threat the setting but were weirdly absent outside of a few quests.

Which makes it even weirder why the game has taken so long if it was planned out basically 15+ years ago
