You can currently trust palscans, they are those that translate the arab scans which are faster out than english ones.

That's because the Yakuza is tied with the Arab mafia clans and that's how they are quicker or higher in priority. The english ones mainly TCB) are slower now and that's why the arabs also took over english translation.

Why do Oda's angels even say that g5 was planned all along, when Oda himself says the only reason he added it is because he thought manga became too serious?

Not "Oda's angels", just me. Most people do not understand why Gear 5 can only be an early creation. The reason is simple : without G5 or rather, without the nature of Luffy's fruit and its thematic meaning, there is no way to create the ending of Luffy's story without extrem luck or extrem improvisation talent.

And while Oda is a good gardenner - and he even cultivates that image - he is the definition of an architect.

Just because we haven’t seen a Saru Saru fruit in the story, that doesn’t mean that one doesn’t exist in the world lmao. Obviously we’re never gonna see every single DF that exists. I think it's just a visual cue to explain how devil's fruit are probably related to ancient technology where ancient people found how to manipulate the lineage factor (that it's just the DNA in our world) and create modified devil fruits. Even if Vegapunk said devil fruits are from human desires. It can be a mix of both.
